MDP Bridal Boutique is proud to be the only bridal boutique in Central Florida to offer full-service on-site alterations for brides. We truly have you taken care of from dress shopping to beautifully walking down the aisle. Our expert seamstresses will perfectly tailor your dress and have it fit you like a glove!
After finding the dress of your dreams, we continue the personal experience with our own atelier that boasts couture seamstresses with over 30 years of experience in the business who will custom tailor your exquisite gown.
The alterations seamstresses are friendly, easy to talk to, and exceptionally skilled. Rest assured, your dress will be stunning! Whether you need simply a hem and a bustle or major customizations such as adding sleeves or significantly raising or lowering a neckline, we have you covered!
We also accept brides who purchased their wedding dresses from other bridal boutiques, as well as brides who are wearing a family heirloom piece. Call us to set up an appointment with our head seamstress. For the initial alterations appointment, please bring your wedding day shoes and expect the appointment to last around an hour. Alterations typically run $400 – $800 and up depending upon the scope of the work.
PREPARING FOR ALTERATIONS
- Schedule your first fitting to begin 8 weeks before your date.
BRING YOUR SHOES to all of your fittings! We cannot stress enough the importance of having the actual pair of shoes you will be wearing on your wedding day with you at your fitting to ensure your hem is perfect for your wedding day. - Bring any undergarments (Spanx, bra, etc) that you will be wearing with your dress.
- Bring your accessories so that you can see your whole, completed bridal look. Don’t have any? You can shop for our veils, hair accessories, and shoes while you’re in!
