As a young girl, Pilar dreamed of a life in “Fashion,” In 1975 Pilar immigrated from Ecuador to the USA to make her dreams come true…
In 1989 Pilar discovered her Love for Bridal while working at the famous Kleinfeld’s, best known for their TV show “Say Yes To The Dress”.
After working for over 20 plus years in the bridal industry with some of the top designers in New York City, Pilar made a lifetime decision to move to Orlando, Florida. Pilar knew that she had more to contribute, filled with great hope, new ideas, and relying on her creativity and careful care to detail, in 2017 she designed her first Maria Del Pilar Bridal collection.
Proud and overwhelmed on how great the collections were doing and after great consideration, Pilar open her flagship store in Downtown Orlando in 2019.
Today we are recognized as one of the top bridal shops in Central Florida. We are a full-service Bridal Boutique. When you select one of our designer gowns, you will be wearing something far more than just a wedding dress. You make a statement, one that exemplifies the style, the attitude, and the elegance of the bride, and the woman you are.

With over 40 years of experience in bridal alterations, our seamstresses will instantly put you at ease. The alterations seamstresses are friendly, easy to talk to, and exceptionally skilled. Rest assured, your dress will be stunning! Whether you need simply a hem and a bustle or major customizations such as adding sleeves or significantly raising or lowering a neckline, we have you covered!
We also accept brides who purchased their wedding dresses from other bridal boutiques, as well as brides who are wearing a family heirloom piece. Call us to set up an appointment with our head seamstress. For the initial alterations appointment, please bring your wedding day shoes and expect the appointment to last around an hour. Alterations typically run $400 – $800 depending upon the scope of the work.
